Frequently Asked Questions
Honest answers to the questions people actually ask before getting started.
How do Condor Credits work?
Condor Credits are a prepaid wallet you fund through a CondorBox Membership ($10–$200/mo). Credits are shared across every Chicha Technology app — Chicha Cybersecurity, DracoCam, Kinship Book, and more. Each AI security query draws about 0.14 credits (a fraction of one credit) from your wallet. Your wallet refills each billing cycle.
What happens when my credits run out?
AI investigations pause when your credit balance reaches zero. Automated rule-based alerts (threat detection, device inventory, connection monitoring) continue uninterrupted — only AI chat queries require credits. Top up your balance anytime at condorbox.ai/credits.
Can I switch membership tiers later?
Yes, upgrade or downgrade at any time from your CondorBox portal. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated to the day. Downgrades apply at the start of the next billing cycle.
How are devices counted?
A device is any computer or server running the Chicha agent on your network (macOS, Windows, or Linux). Passive devices seen via network scanning — phones, routers, smart TVs, IoT — do not count toward any limit. Only devices with the agent installed count.
Is my data private?
Your files, documents, photos, and messages never leave your devices. The agent sends only security event summaries — things like "process started," "file modified at path X," or "connection to IP Y" — to our cloud for analysis. No file contents, no keystrokes, no screen captures.
How do I cancel?
Go to condorbox.ai/portal and cancel your membership. No emails to send, no phone calls, no retention flows. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access until then.
Do you offer discounts for education or non-profits?
Yes. Contact us with your organization details and we’ll work something out. We want security to be accessible.
What operating systems do you support?
The agent runs on macOS (12+), Windows 10/11, and Linux (Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora, and most systemd-based distros). The network scan works on any network — it discovers devices that don’t have the agent installed too.
